You're adrift in space on a badly damaged ship. Avoid running out of oxygen, being pulled into space, or dying to various hazards in order to get your ship running again.

Controls

  • Walk: W or S to move forward or backward
  • Look: Mouse
  • Interact: E

UI

  • The bar next to the player represents their suit oxygen
  • The bar on the bottom right represents the ship's oxygen
  • The red bar at the center bottom is the player's health
  • The green pips on the bottom left represent the ship's energy

known issues

  • Jumping back into the ship from a hull breach can softlock the game
  • The ship's energy doesn't always accurately display when energy is being used (for example, when using the medbay or refilling oxygen)

Pretty interesting game albiet I didn't manage to beat it. It does have atmosphere which has allowed me to get into it from the first second, making me wonder and enjoy a bit of wandering on my own. But it's not exactly a clear game. There are few collission glitches, in particular I wish I more safeguarded when fixing a hole, as I would get pulled right inside a wall when done with fixing. Walking near walls also felt weird, which I think is because collission of the character gets turned along with sprites, which isn't something one would normally do for movement/navigation collision. I also didn't beat it fully and feel that some design choice for one-life adventure are a bit off, with long walk and one item per slot (drop on a spot) where you have chance to soft-lock by sealing a wall. Ah well, could have been simplified.

Cool concept; I like the small layer of stress from running out of oxygen. I got stuck eventually, not knowing what to do next, and then I got softlocked by jumping back inside from the first hull breach.

thank you! <3 yeah, that’s a pretty easy way to break the game unfortunately :( now that i’ve caught up on sleep, i’m going to include a walkthrough since the ingame prompts aren’t helpful enough to get from start to finish

very cool concept that's both familiar and unique. incredibly impressive for a game jam.
